Medical Conditions

Grogginess

Dry Mouth
The drugs used for sedation can leave you with a dry mouth, although this effect should subside as soon as the drugs wear off properly. A dry mouth can also result in your mouth tasting a bit funny for a while.
Amnesia
While most people may feel more comfortable about not remembering very much about their visit to the dentist, the ongoing effects can last through the end of the day. The best approach is not to schedule during a workday.
